“In the providence of God, governments were intended to be the servants, not the masters of the people. This eternal truth needs to be emphasized and re-emphasized.” Elder Ezra Taft Benson

Oh, By the Way... Public Healthcare Passed

Well, since my last time blogging on here, Obama and Pelosi's public healthcare bill has been passed.

I was sitting in the living room of the resort we stayed in for our Disneyland trip. The Shills were all there, too. When they announced that it passed, I cried and felt like it was the end of the world. I tried hiding my tears and went into our room. Cody came and comforted me. Later, my dad gave me some comforting words and assuring reminders.

We know things will continue to get worse in the world until the Savior comes again. We know that we must continue on righteously no matter what happens. If we follow Jesus Christ and his gospel, we will be on his side - whether in this life or the next - when He comes. (Thanks, Dad! And thanks to the scriptures!)

I wonder if this is why my mom (and my Aunt Kendra, and my sister Brittany) feels inspired to become a nurse. A nurse or doctor in the family might be really useful if medicine becomes socialized and waiting periods become ridiculous.

The fact that the healthcare bill passed makes me even MORE thankful for Sunrider. I want to be more proactive about my health, and the health of my loved ones!!!

The Healthcare Bill wasn't even about our health care, though. It was about more government control. Yeah, I know! They're so wicked!!! They have an insatiable desire for power. It's nice to know that at some point, they'll lose. Badly.

I'm thankful for the HOPE I have in Christ! It helps me stay sane and positive with all the crazy, evil politicians running around destroying our freedoms.

Coming Back to Journal

For the last long while, this blog has been private and no one has viewed it. I just read or skimmed through all the posts and have decided that I can keep using this as an outlet for my politial rants and opinions.

I'll make this blog into a book and it will be my political journal.

I often wonder why I am so interested in politics, more so than the average person (or stay-home-mom). Is it becaues I have a mission to fulfill? Is it because I need to teach my children correctly so that my posterity will go forward as great leaders? Is it merely because we are to be righteous citizens and patriots and virtue must be supported and upheld by as many as possible?

I do not know. But I love the Founding Fathers. I love their extreme sacrifices and dedication to TRUTH and to God. I love the constitution. I love this land - the Promised Land.

I'm thankful and proud to be an American. I know I am a Child of God who lives and loves me.

Pelosi: "We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it"

Nancy Pelosi said we have to pass the healthcare bill to find out what's in it.

DO YOU REALIZE WHAT SHE IS SAYING HERE?

(It's 10 seconds long.)

I want to know why we can't know everything about it now? Well a lot of what's in the bill has gotten out, thank goodness, but not through mainstream media for all to see.

The more people find out what's in this bill and what this bill means and really is, the more people reject it entirely.

Three fourths of Americans are AGAINST healthcare reform as Pelosi and Reid are proposing... why are they ignoring THE PEOPLE?

Aren't they a government FOR the people BY the people? Well, they're supposed to be.

This healthcare bill (or both of them, however many they've proposed now) is a bigger deal than most people realize.

If government is ignoring the people and not being forward, open and honest about what all EXACTLY is in this bill, why on earth would they want to pass it?

What is it about getting this passed that they so desperately want?

It's not that hard to figure out. They want more control. This bill is not about America's health, this bill is about passing laws to control us EVEN MORE than they already do.

Did you know that over 40,000 new laws were passed during the holidays that are now in effect since January 1st of this year?

Put the pieces together. The more they can pass laws about everyday things we do, the more control they have. This bill is all about more laws and is NOTHING about what Obama says.

They tell sob story after sob story of people who had to wear their dead sister's dentures because she couldn't afford her own (no joke) and try to play off people's emotions.

Why not use honesty, common sense and integrity to try and pass it?

OH - because it's DISHONEST and we, the people, wouldn't like the truth, if we heard it.

SAY NO TO OBAMACARE!

News Flash!

I am a libertarian?! Well... I guess I need to learn more about "my kind" as well, like my friend Ashley remarked after discovering she's a libertarian, too!

I just took the Nolan test; the outcomes are conservative, libertarian, liberal, statist, and centrist. In my opinion, a centrist is someone who can't pick a side... they don't really have any convictions.

If you really want details and exactness, I'm a Libertarian. But generally speaking, there's Conservatism and Liberalism in my opinion! People are basically on one side or the other.

Want to take the test and find out where you stand? Click here!

Your answers suggest that you are a libertarian. The yellow star shows more precisely where you fall within the libertarian region of the Nolan chart.

Don't Let Freedom Slip Away - by Kitty Werthmann

Truly, this is the Greatest Country in the World. Don't Let Freedom Slip Away

- Kitty Werthmann

What I am about to tell you is something you've probably never heard or will ever read in history books.
I believe that I am an eyewitness to history. I cannot tell you that Hitler took Austria by tanks and guns; it would distort history. We elected him by a landslide - 98% of the vote..  I've never read that in any American publications. Everyone thinks that Hitler just rolled in with his tanks and took Austria by force.
In 1938, Austria was in deep Depression. Nearly one-third of our workforce was unemployed. We had 25% inflation and 25% bank loan interest rates. Farmers and business people were declaring bankruptcy daily. Young people were going from house to house begging for food. Not that they didn't want to work; there simply weren't any jobs. My mother was a Christian woman and believed in helping people in need. Every day we cooked a big kettle of soup and baked bread to feed those poor, hungry people - about 30 daily.
The Communist Party and the National Socialist Party were fighting each other. Blocks and blocks of cities like Vienna, Linz, and Graz were destroyed. The people became desperate and petitioned the government to let them decide what kind of government they wanted.
We looked to our neighbor on the north, Germany, where Hitler had been in power since 1933. We had been told that they didn't have unemployment or crime, and they had a high standard of living. Nothing was ever said about persecution of any group - Jewish or otherwise. We were led to believe that everyone was happy. We wanted the same way of life in Austria. We were promised that a vote for Hitler would mean the end of unemployment and help for the family. Hitler also said that businesses would be assisted, and farmers would get their farms back. Ninety-eight percent of the population voted to annex Austria to Germany and have Hitler for our ruler.
We were overjoyed, and for three days we danced in the streets and had candlelight parades. The new government opened up big field kitchens and everyone was fed.
After the election, German officials were appointed, and like a miracle, we suddenly had law and order. Three or four weeks later, everyone was employed. The government made sure that a lot of work was created through the Public Work Service.
Hitler decided we should have equal rights for women. Before this, it was a custom that married Austrian women did not work outside the home. An able-bodied husband would be looked down on if he couldn't support his family.  Many women in the teaching profession were elated that they could retain the jobs they previously had been required to give up for marriage.

Hitler Targets Education - Eliminates Religious Instruction for Children

Our education was nationalized. I attended a very good public school. The population was predominantly Catholic, so we had religion in our schools. The day we elected Hitler (March 13, 1938), I walked into my schoolroom to find the crucifix replaced by Hitler's picture hanging next to a Nazi flag. Our teacher, a very devout woman, stood up and told the class we wouldn't pray or have religion anymore. Instead, we sang "Deutschland, Deutschland, Uber Alles," and had physical education.
Sunday became National Youth Day with compulsory attendance. Parents were not pleased about the sudden change in curriculum. They were told that if they did not send us, they would receive a stiff letter of warning the first time. The second time they would be fined the equivalent of $300, and the third time they would be subject to jail. The first two hours consisted of political indoctrination. The rest of the day we had sports. As time went along, we loved it. Oh, we had so much fun and got our sports equipment free. We would go home and gleefully tell our parents about the wonderful time we had.
My mother was very unhappy. When the next term started, she took me out of public school and put me in a convent. I told her she couldn't do that and she told me that someday when I grew up, I would be grateful. There was a very good curriculum, but hardly any fun - no sports, and no political indoctrination. I hated it at first but felt I could tolerate it. Every once in a while, on holidays, I went home. I would go back to my old friends and ask what was going on and what they were doing. Their loose lifestyle was very alarming to me. They lived without religion. By that time unwed mothers were glorified for having a baby for Hitler. It seemed strange to me that our society changed so suddenly. As time went along, I realized what a great deed my mother did so that I wasn't exposed to that kind of humanistic philosophy.

Equal Rights Hits Home

In 1939, the war started and a food bank was established. All food was rationed and could only be purchased using food stamps. At the same time, a full-employment law was passed which meant if you didn't work, you didn't get a ration card, and if you didn't have a card, you starved to death. Women who stayed home to raise their families didn't have any marketable skills and often had to take jobs more suited for men.
Soon after this, the draft was implemented. It was compulsory for young people, male and female, to give one year to the labor corps. During the day, the girls worked on the farms, and at night they returned to their barracks for military training just like the boys. They were trained to be anti-aircraft gunners and participated in the signal corps. After the labor corps, they were not discharged but were used in the front lines. When I go back to Austria to visit my family and friends, most of these women are emotional cripples because they just were not equipped to handle the horrors of combat. Three months before I turned 18, I was severely injured in an air raid attack. I nearly had a leg amputated, so I was spared having to go into the labor corps and into military service.

Hitler Restructured the Family Through Daycare

When the mothers had to go out into the work force, the government immediately established child care centers. You could take your children ages 4 weeks to school age and leave them there around-the-clock, 7 days a week, under the total care of the government. The state raised a whole generation of children. There were no motherly women to take care of the children, just people highly trained in child psychology. By this time, no one talked about equal rights. We knew we had been had.

Health Care and Small Business Suffer Under Government Controls

Before Hitler, we had very good medical care. Many American doctors trained at the University of Vienna. After Hitler, health care was socialized, free for everyone. Doctors were salaried by the government. The problem was, since it was free, the people were going to the doctors for everything. When the good doctor arrived at his office at 8 a.m., 40 people were already waiting and, at the same time, the hospitals were full. If you needed elective surgery, you had to wait a year or two for your turn. There was no money for research as it was poured into socialized medicine. Research at the medical schools literally stopped, so the best doctors left Austria and emigrated to other countries.
As for healthcare, our tax rates went up to 80 percent of our income. Newlyweds immediately received a $1,000 loan from the government to establish a household. We had big programs for families. All day care and education were free. High schools were taken over by the government and college tuition was subsidized. Everyone was entitled to free handouts, such as food stamps, clothing, and housing.
We had another agency designed to monitor business. My brother-in-law owned a restaurant that had square tables. Government officials told him he had to replace them with round tables because people might bump themselves on the corners. Then they said he had to have additional bathroom facilities. It was just a small dairy business with a snack bar. He couldn't meet all the demands. Soon, he went out of business. If the government owned the large businesses and not many small ones existed, it could be in control.
We had consumer protection. We were told how to shop and what to buy. Free enterprise was essentially abolished. We had a planning agency specially designed for farmers. The agents would go to the farms, count the live-stock, then tell the farmers what to produce, and how to produce it.

"Mercy Killing" Redefined

In 1944, I was a student teacher in a small village in the Alps. The villagers were surrounded by mountain passes which, in the winter, were closed off with snow, causing people to be isolated. So people intermarried and offspring were sometimes retarded. When I arrived, I was told there were 15 mentally retarded adults, but they were all useful and did good manual work. I knew one, named Vincent, very well. He was a janitor of the school. One day I looked out the window and saw Vincent and others getting into a van. I asked my superior where they were going. She said to an institution where the State Health Department would teach them a trade, and to read and write. The families were required to sign papers with a little clause that they could not visit for 6 months. They were told visits would interfere with the program and might cause homesickness.
As time passed, letters started to dribble back saying these people died a natural, merciful death. The villagers were not fooled. We suspected what was happening. Those people left in excellent physical health and all died within 6 months. We called this euthanasia.

The Final Steps - Gun Laws

Next, came gun registration. People were getting injured by guns. Hitler said that the real way to catch criminals (we still had a few) was by matching serial numbers on guns. Most citizens were law abiding and dutifully marched to the police station to register their firearms. Not long after-wards, the police said that it was best for everyone to turn in their guns. The authorities already knew who had them, so it was futile not to comply voluntarily. No more freedom of speech. Anyone who said something against the government was taken away. We knew many people who were arrested, not only Jews, but also priests and ministers who spoke up.
Totalitarianism didn't come quickly, it took 5 years from 1938 until 1943 to realize full dictatorship in Austria. Had it happened overnight, my countrymen would have fought to the last breath. Instead, we had creeping gradualism. Now, our only weapons were broom handles. The whole idea sounds almost unbelievable that the state, little by little eroded our freedom.
After World Ware II, Russian troops occupied Austria. Women were raped, preteen to elderly. The press never wrote about this either. When the Soviets left in 1955, they took everything that they could, dismantling whole factories in the process. They sawed down whole orchards of fruit, and what they couldn't destroy, they burned. We called it The Burned Earth. Most of the population barricaded themselves in their houses. Women hid in their cellars for 6 weeks as the troops mobilized. Those who couldn't paid the price. There is a monument in Vienna today dedicated to those women who were massacred by the Russians. This is an eye witness account.
It's true..those of us who sailed past the Statue of Liberty came to a country of unbelievable freedom and opportunity.

America Truly is the Greatest Country in the World. Don't Let Freedom Slip Away.

Why Did the Chicken Cross the Road?

If you haven't seen this before, enjoy! I think it's hilarious. :)

SARAH PALIN:  Before it got to the other side, I shot the chicken, cleaned and dressed it, and had chicken burgers for lunch.
BARACK OBAMA:  The chicken crossed the road because it was time for a change! The chicken wanted change!
JOHN MC CAIN:  My friends that chicken crossed the road because he recognized the need to engage in cooperation and dialogue with all the chickens on the other side of the road.
HILLARY CLINTON:  When I was First Lady, I personally helped that little chicken to cross the road. This experience makes me uniquely qualified to ensure right from Day One that every chicken in this country gets the chance it deserves to cross the road.  But then, this really isn’t about me.
GEORGE W. BUSH:  We don’t really care why the chicken crossed the road. We just want to know if the chicken is on our side of the road, or not. The chicken is either against us, or for us. There is no middle ground here.
DICK CHENEY:  Where’s my gun?
COLIN POWELL:  Now to the left of the screen, you can clearly see the satellite image of the chicken crossing the road.
BILL CLINTON:  I did not cross the road with that chicken.  What is your definition of chicken?
AL GORE:  I invented the chicken.
JOHN KERRY:  Although I voted to let the chicken cross the road, I am now against it! It was the wrong road to cross, and I was misled about the chicken’s intentions.  I am not for it now and will remain against it.
AL SHARPTON:  Why are all the chickens white? We need some black chickens.
DR. PHIL:  The problem we have here is that this chicken doesn’t realize that he must first deal with the problem on this side of the road before it goes after the problem on the other side of the road. What we need to do is help him realize how stupid he’s acting by not taking on his current problems before adding new problems.
OPRAH:  Well, I understand that the chicken is having problems, which is why he wants to cross this road so bad. So instead of having the chicken learn from his mistakes and take falls, which is a part of life, I’m going to give this chicken a car so that he can just drive across the road and not live his life like the rest of the chickens.
ANDERSON COOPER, CNN: We have reason to believe there is a chicken, but we have not yet been allowed access to the other side of the road.
NANCY GRACE:  That chicken crossed the road because he’s guilty! You can see it in his eyes and the way he walks.
PAT BUCHANAN:  To steal the job of a decent, hardworking American.
MARTHA STEWART:  No one called me to warn me which way that chicken was going.  I had a standing order at the Farmer’s Market to sell my eggs when the price dropped to a certain level.  No little bird gave me any insider information.
DR SEUSS:  Did the chicken cross the road? Did he cross it with a toad? Yes, the chicken crossed the road, but why it crossed I’ve not been told.
ERNEST HEMINGWAY: To die in the rain, alone.
GRANDPA:  In my day we didn’t ask why the chicken crossed the road. Somebody told us the chicken crossed the road, and that was good enough.
BARBARA WALTERS:  Isn’t that interesting?  In a few moments, we will be listening to the chicken tell, for the first time, the heart-warming story of how it experienced a serious case of molting, and went on to accomplish its lifelong dream of crossing the road.
ARISTOTLE:  It is the nature of chickens to cross the road.
JOHN LENNON:  Imagine all the chickens in the world crossing roads together, in peace.
BILL GATES:  I have just released eChicken 2008, which will not only cross roads, but will lay eggs, file your important documents, and balance your checkbook.  Internet Explorer is an integral part of eChicken 2008. This new platform is much more stable and will never crash or need to be rebooted.
ALBERT EINSTEIN:  Did the chicken really cross the road, or did the road move beneath the chicken?
COLONEL SANDERS:  Did I miss one?

U.S. Government Wants Farmers to Dump Heavy Metals on Fields

Each year, 125 to 130 tons of ash and sludge are left over from burning coal. The government wants farmers to dump it over the fields as a solution to dealing with it.

Why would they want to poison consumers?

Lead leads to brain shrinkage, learning disabilities, and violent behavior.

Arsenic causes cancer, neurological disturbances, and instant death.

Mercury affects brain development and, as everyone knows, causes autism.

These poisons damage our genes, so more children will be born sick and damaged. People will be told their diseases are genetic. If they believe it, they'll likely also believe they have no power to change their situation. Many may try "advances" in medicine involving genetic manipulation.

There is an upside for pharmaceutical companies and those in Washington who financially benefit from them. More and more drugs will be sold in a nation that four out of five inhabitants already pop at least one prescription pill weekly. These folks will keep getting richer as the entire nation suffers.

The government will likely continue spouting the same nonsense about "small amounts of known poisons not hurting anyone," all while neglecting to acknowledge that with time small amounts of poisons build in the body - eventually becoming large amounts that are well known to harm.

The dumping of toxic waste onto the food supply is a sham from an administration that purports to care about health

No kidding!! If the government cared about America, about US, they would encourage farmers to have HIGH standards and plant organically! Why do you think they would encourage something like this?

Think about it.

(P.S. Some of these poisons are in vaccines. Think about that.)

Heritage Foundation Surveys

This week, I received a letter and survey from The Heritage Foundation.

The Heritage Foundation is the intellectual engine driving the conservative movement. They have the best ideas and the most reliable research on the issues! They are non-partisan and their top concern is what's best for America.

They are sending out surveys all across the nation asking taxpayers directly how they feel about what is going on in our nation and in Washington D.C.

I've filled it out and mailed it back! If you get one in the mail, fill it out! Send it in! They want to know what YOU want and what YOU think because YOU are America. It's "the little people" (as government sees us) who make America what it is. Take a stand! Don't let men take away our freedom.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a GREAT day. :)

This Is a Great Nation!

"Men may fail in this country, earthquakes may come, seas may heave beyond their bounds, there may be great drought, disaster, and hardship...

...but this nation, founded on principles laid down by men whom God raised up, will never fail.

This is the cradle of humanity, where life on this earth began in the Garden of Eden. This is the place of the New Jerusalem. This is the place that the Lord said is favored above all other nations in all the world. This is the place where the Savior will come to His Temple. This is the favored land in all the world.

Yes, I repeat, men may fail, but this nation won't fail.

I have faith in America; you and I must have faith in America, if we understand the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ."

Breast Cancer Awareness: THE TRUTH

Ladies, well, everyone - the whole Pink Ribbon and Breast Cancer Awareness is a big, fat lie.

Why?

Women buy the most products, so products and services women buy are branded with pink ribbons.

Sex sells, and "Breast Cancer Awareness" is a way of talking about sex without talking about sex.

Lung cancer kills about twice as many women a year.

Ten times more women are killed by heart disease every year... why not bring more attention to these two much-more-fatal problems?

People who sponsor breast cancer walks are not using money for "finding a cure" or finding the cause.

Read about how MAMMOGRAMS cause cancer.
What? Then why would they encourage women of all ages to get one EVERY YEAR?

Read how abortions and hormonal birth control (and a lot more) contribute to cancer.
Why don't they tell us our birth control can contribute towards cancer and make us infertile?

I've researched a lot of what this video shows and tells (other than the signs and symbols it talks about in the first part) and it is true.

This has a lot of great information from tanning to microwaves to drug companies.

So ladies, prevent cancer by:

  1. Wearing deodorant, of course, but not 'anti-perspirant' deodorants that clog your pores and inhibit toxins from being sweat out of your body.
  2. Switch from hormonal birth control methods to non-hormonal kinds (moms having babies - breastfeeding is an AWESOME, easy, and natural way).
  3. Do NOT get mammograms.
  4. If having children, breastfeed! Breastfeeding significantly reduces your risk!
  5. Don't eat (or eat less of) microwaved foods.
  6. The more raw foods incorporated into your diet, the better.
  7. Get enough sleep and sleep regularly.
  8. Exercise!
(I definitely need to eat better and exercise... especially with cancer from both sides of my family!)

Employment Report

3.4 million jobs were lost in 2009... 3.4 MILLION JOBS LOST IN 2009. What about the so-called almost-trillion dollar STIMULUS?

Do you feel like the U.S. economy has been STIMULATED and gotten BETTER? No. Anyone on Earth can see that our economy continues to spiral downward, while "stimulus" is still being spent and proposed.

The BEST way to help the economy recover, thrive, and prosper is to improve incentives that drive economic activity which means CUT TAXES! If you give money to the people (well, if you let them KEEP the money THEY earn), they will spend it! And THAT is what stimulates the economy. Then people, companies, small businesses, etc. are encouraged to earn more, therefore spending, saving, and investing more, etc.

Do you not think Obama and his administration know this? They do. They absolutely know what hurts the country and what helps it. They know. OBAMA KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING. He continues to be a woos by blaming everything on the former administration and not taking responsibility for ANYthing bad he's caused to happen.

They know exactly what they're doing. They're doing it on purpose.

Another State Senate Defeats Gay Marriage!

By a vote of 20-14, gay marriage was denied in New Jersey and Proper Marriage between a man and a woman won!

Thank heavens our nation hasn't gone down the toilet yet due to good (yes, as opposed to bad) victories.
