“In the providence of God, governments were intended to be the servants, not the masters of the people. This eternal truth needs to be emphasized and re-emphasized.” Elder Ezra Taft Benson

Global What?

Don't buy anything that says it's "eco-friendly" or "green" and "safer" for our planet.

Fact: GLOBAL COOLING (like it was called in the seventies)... ehem, excuse me... I mean GLOBAL WARMING... oh wait, now it's CLIMATE CHANGE is a political hoax. "Going green" means you're furthering a political agenda of conceited frauds.

It doesn't matter if you use only one square of toilet paper. It doesn't matter whether you use paper or plastic bags at the grocery store. It doesn't make a difference if you drive a giant SUV or a dumb prius! Now, I do believe recycling is good, being frugal and thrifty is good, and we shouldn't be wasteful... but that's due to what prophets have said, not politicians.

Why would God who created us put us on Earth only for our progression to destroy everything and "accidentally" end mortality too early because we didn't drive the right kind of car? GIVE me a BREAK.

What will happen to the earth will be what Heavenly Father wants to happen. The earth is His footstool.

Just look at how much Obama and Gore pollute the earth and do the very OPPOSITE of what they tell everyone else to do... they're hypocrites. Here are just a FEW places were you can read about it:

Anyway, just wanted to share that Climate Change is a big, fat, LIE.

God Bless America.

  1. Oh wow! I've now seen the female version of Rush Limbaugh. Where do I start here? First off, if you love driving your gas guzzling, air polluting SUV then say so. Don't try to hide behind this "conceited frauds" agenda that you seem to think, exists.

So let me get this straight, here now is a conspiracy that advises me to consume less. I'm sorry but don't these things usually go the opposite way? Especially in today's economic climate? You give me a break.

Newsflash: Global warming or cooling or whatever you may seem to think is a conspiracy, exists. I've lived in several parts of the world and have experienced its effects. Less snow in some of the northern cities and states than in the past, more rain, flooding, ice caps melting and so on. It even snowed in Vegas in the summer recently. Before you argue this point, just know that crazy weather patterns are the effects of global warming. Don't you think that perhaps this is man's effect this planet?

The scary part of your post stipulates that unless "the prophets" tell you that global warming exists you won't believe it. Open your pretty eyes and see the facts. Oh and for your info, God's joy is your freedom, not your compliance. Meaning when God created you in his image he didn't stop there. You were given the ability and freedom to create, be, and experience whatever you want. Good or bad. We are spiritual beings experiencing a physical existence, not physical beings that happen to have a spirit as we've been taught.

Just as we were told to take care of our spiritual home( our bodies), so too we have to take care of our physical home (the world). Us destroying the earth has nothing to do with God. That onus falls on us.

Commenting on your paragraph about God punishing us for our progression. We're advanced enough to know that the way we're living is affecting the earth don't you think we have a responsibility to act on that? It's not up to God.

  2. "M",

Thank you! I take that as a compliment - Rush Limbaugh gives such a wonderful service to our country.

And not a problem! I'll say so any day to anyone: I LOVE LOVE LOVE driving my gas-guzzling, air-polluting SUV. In fact, we just got rid of our wonderful lifted (so it uses even MORE gas) Nissan Xterra with big tires (so, once again, even MORE gas) due to wanting to save money - but after school, we'll for sure each have some of the biggest SUV's out there! (P.S. We've driven that wonderful thing from coast to coast. :)

Luckily in this free country, we're all entitled to our opinions, whether they are right or wrong. So thanks for sharing. This blog is not for argument or debate, but for me to share my spiritual and political opinions and testimonies. If you disagree with this blog, go find another one you enjoy reading more.

There is a prophet of God on the earth today who leads and guides those willing to follow. Yes, the Lord loves us so much he gave us agency to choose whatever we want in this life: right or wrong. But we will still be held accountable for those choices and there will be consequences. Just as there is a night and a day, there is right and wrong, good and bad. We are here to experience opposition so we can truly know the joy by knowing the sorrow and appreciate the sweet by knowing the bitter.

Although we feel this is done in different ways, I do agree with you on the point that we DO need to take care of our physical home (the world).

    Thanks again - Bree

P.S. It IS up to God.

  3. Interesting points.

What I can say is that my eyes have really been opened to all the "green" merchandise that's being sold in stores today - for a LOT more money. I do believe we need to take care of the Earth the best way we know how but that doesn't necessarily mean we need to spend twice as much for a Hybrid car or "green" cleaning supplies or recycled tires. We still need to live sensibly while keeping the environment in mind.

I do (definitely) think that there are companies and other individuals who are benefiting from the whole "Global Warming" situation. There is fear surrounding "Global Warming" where people think that if they don't buy the right products or cars (the "green" products") the Earth will be destroyed. Companies and other institutions are playing off of this fear and benefiting monetarily. And all for a situation that isn't even that out of control - ask the scientists who have been researching "Global Warming". Glen Beck had a broadcast about it a few months back where even the scientists couldn't really find much data to back up "Global Warming".

So. Is there such thing as "Global Warming"? Who knows for sure. I believe there is climate change but I think it's controlled by God. If He wants a hurricane to hit New York or an ice storm to hit California, etc, it will happen.

My bottom line. I'll keep living my life the best I know how. Recycling newspapers and phone books. Using paper towels to clean up spills and plastic baggies to store food in. Using real dishes instead of paper and plastic when I can. Driving my four AND six cylinder cars. We shouldn't be wasteful. We should respect God's creation. But we shouldn't have to spend more money for "green products" to further whoever's agenda.
